For this month’s Little by Little Letter, I reached out to Mea Williams, the President and CEO of Grace After Fire, a fantastic women Veterans’ service organization based in Houston, Texas. Mea, a Navy Veteran, is an incredible woman and leader. I hope you find her as inspiring as I do.

I also sat down for an interview with Mary Ann Mayer, the Women’s Outreach Program Director at the National Veterans Foundation. Mary Ann is a passionate advocate for U.S. Veterans and I’m so pleased that I had the chance to learn a little bit more about the important work that she and her colleagues are doing at NVF.

Lastly, I am also happy to share my recent interview with author Elizabeth Szewczyk. Her new collection of poetry, Fragments of Survival, is incredibly powerful, and explores Elizabeth’s path to healing from child sexual abuse.
