Hello, Everyone,
In this month’s Little By Little, I’m happy to share interviews with award-winning authors Dr. Mark Seely and KJ Howe.
Dr. Seely is the author of Stones: Meditations on Human Authenticity, from Big Table Publishing, which recently won a National Indie Excellence Award. He is also a social critic, professional educator, and cognitive psychologist. His essays have appeared in Fifth Estate Magazine, Free Inquiry, Sky Island Journal, Snowy Egret, and at NatureWriting.com. He has also published numerous pieces in From the Edge of the Prairie, an annual publication showcasing poets and authors in Northwest Indiana.
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to interview Dr. Seely and to learn more about his thoughts on cancer, civilization, counterfactual thinking, and his unexpected muse, the opossum.
K.J. Howe is the award-winning author of the Thea Paris series of Kidnap-and-Ransom thrillers, which has received high praise from the likes of James Patterson, Karen Dionne, Clive Cussler, Kathy Reichs, Lee Child, and many others. She is also the Executive Director of ThrillerFest, the annual conference of International Thriller Writers, which is held every summer in New York City. It was a pleasure to speak with K.J. about her highly acclaimed novels, The Freedom Broker and SkyJack, and to learn more about her process and passions. I hope you enjoy our conversation.
