Hi Friends!
In this month’s Little By Little, I’m happy to share interviews with author, poet, and dancer, Cheryl Pallant and award-winning chef and actor “Frankie” Imbergamo.
It was such a pleasure speaking with and learning more about Cheryl Pallant for our interview. She leads quite a multi-passionate life! Cheryl is an award-winning poet, dancer, healer, writing and somatics coach, professor, and workshop leader. She is also the author of twelve books, which include, most recently, Her Body Listening, a collection of new poetry, Ginseng Tango, a memoir about living in South Korea and Writing and the Body in Motion: Awakening Voice through Somatic Practice. Cheryl has received the Theresa Pollak Prize for Excellence in the Arts and her book, Into Stillness, was a Finalist for the Virginia Books Award and the Southeastern Book Association. I hope you enjoy our conversation.
I also had the opportunity to interview chef and actor Frank (“Frankie”) Imbergamo. Meeting Frank was a bit like reuniting with an old and dear friend. There was something immediately familiar about him. Frankie was a winner in the Emeril Live Italian Contest on the Food Network and you’ll find that award-winning recipe at the end of our interview. Winning that contest changed the course of Frankie’s life in fun and unexpected ways and we got to talk a bit about all of that. He’s a generous and inspiring guy and I had a great time chatting with him.
